Welcome to Team Schiavetti Strides!  I am a breast cancer survivor (9 years cancer free April 26, 2026) and am honored to be a co-chair of the fifth annual rides and strides event and the captain of our team.  

This event supports a great cause, with proceeds going directly to support the underinsured, uninsured, and medically underserved to ensure they have access to breast cancer screening services they need on an annual basis. As you may know, when detected early, breast cancer survival rates are very high, but not every woman has access to important mammogram screening services. Our goal is to raise enough funds to provide screening services for at least 400 additional women next year.

As someone who was diagnosed with an aggressive and locally advanced breast cancer at 47, I know that this type of screening saves lives. Had I not been able to afford my screening, I would not be here today. Please join this fight and ensure that everyone has access to these lifesaving tests!
