Our organization's primary mission is to help raise awareness about breast cancer early detection, referring women to mammogram screens, and supporting critical breast cancer research. Each year we host the Beyond A Mammogram Hyde Park 5K Run/Walk in order to increase the conversation about breast health and to positively impact survival rates. This event is a program of the Health Research and Awareness NFP, a 501(c)(3) organization. For more information on the Health Research and Awareness NFP go to www.hranfp.org. EVENT LOCATION & START TIME
Location: Run virtually, inside or outside, from 10-13-2025 through 10-18-2025 @9 AM. Then join us at Shawn Michelle's Ice Cream (46 East 47th Street, Chicago, IL) between 9AM - 12:30PM on 10-18-2025.
When: Saturday 10-18-2025 from 9 AM - 12:30 PM
T-shirts will be given out from 9 AM - 12:30 PM at Shawn Michelle's. Must pickup during this time to receive.
*Virtual runners must be registered and pay through this website, and will receive a link to post their virtual time. The virtual time posting platform will close at 9 AM on 10-18-2025. Medals will be distributed at Shawn Michelle's on Saturday, 10-18-2025 from 10 AM-12:30 PM. Must be present during this time to receive a medal.
** Paid participants will receive FREE ice cream & waffles (while supplies last), giveaways include 1-night stay at the Hyatt Place South, Mesler dinner @ The Sophy Hotel, custom beaded jewelry, running apparel & more. Must be present between 9 AM - 12:30 PM to receive.
Come and enjoy the food, wellness discussion panels, music, while increasing awareness about women's health.
