Why I'm participating in the 9th Annual Crossroads 5K & Family Fun Day
Crossroads has been a large part of our family's lives over the past 7 years. Hard to believe Henry was only 3 at the time and could not sit in a chair for longer than 1.2 seconds! Crossroads has grown up with Henry and supported us along the way helping him reach his full potential. This fearless child is now 13 and is working harder than he ever has (even cleaned out our entire office this year due to Covid with his shredding talents). We try to give back any way we can for the teachers, clinicians and community solutions team and all they do for our family at school and at home.
Now, more than ever we value your support. While Covid-19 kept us from celebrating together at the 8th Annual Crossroads 5K & Family Fun Day, it can’t stop us this year! We are excited to offer virtual and in-person registration options for our 2021 event. We are looking forward to spending the day together as a community, while raising funds and awareness for individuals with autism.
This year’s goal is to raise $47,500. Funds raised by this event are important to Crossroads to ensure we can continue providing the best services and supports to individuals with autism. This year is an especially big year for Crossroads as we complete a new Strategic Plan and prepare to expand our programs beyond our Day School and the home and community-based services provided throughout MA by Crossroads Community Solutions. With your support, we look forward to opening a center to provide early intervention services later this year.
