Severe Weather and Refund Policy

Unless severe weather is present, the race will take place rain or shine. In the event of rain, all other festivities will be moved indoors.

Forecasts are tracked before the race for the possibility of severe weather. If there is a possibility of threatening weather, we’ll make all possible attempts—by email, website and social media—to inform participants if changes are made to the event. We strongly recommend participants make decisions based on what is best for themselves and their families. On race day, if the weather is severe or forecasted to become severe during the event, the race start time can change, the race can be postponed, or the event can be cancelled. No refunds will be given if the event is cancelled due to severe weather or if you cannot attend. Weather conditions will not result in the refunding of entry fees or credits for future events, but we would still offer an incentive (t-shirt, goody bag) pick-up option to participants.
