Each year, the American Council of the Blind holds it's annual ACB Brenda Dillon Memorial Walk in conjunction with the annual ACB National Conference & Convention. For the past two years, the walk has been virtual due to the pandemic. we're excited that it will take place in -person this year at the 2022 Hybrid ACB Conference and Convention, which will be held in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Maryland Crabs is a team of dedicated advocates supporting programs and activities across Maryland through the ACB of Maryland affiliate. Proceeds from our walk team will support both ACB National and the work we conduct on a local level; from Baltimore Harbor, to the Eastern Shore of the Bay; from Annapolis, to the Appalachians, we're striving to make our state more accessible and inclusive for Marylanders who are blind and visually impaired.

The actual walk will take place July 3rd, where those in attendance at the conference will make their way from the Omaha Hilton into the Convention Center, walking our way to the opening session of the 2022 National Conference & Convention.
