On December 15, 2016, I gave birth to a sweet, sleeping baby girl, Harper Elizabeth. I had a list of complications from an incompetent cervix, to antiphospholipid syndrome. She was perfect in every way and we miss her every day. I was fortunate to have a VERY supportive group of friends and family by my side through all of this. Some women and families have no support, no education, no experience when it comes to still birth, miscarriage, or infant loss. One of the many things Star Legacy does is make sure you never are alone in your grief. Every story is different, yet we all understand the grief. They have companions on call day and night if you need someone to sit and talk with and many tools for grieving and other services they offer. Our daughter has her wings and being able to share her with others allows me to keep the tiny memories of her alive.
