About Snow City Arts

Snow City Arts has been providing arts-learning opportunities for 1,300 students annually on-site in pediatric hospitals across Chicago since 1998. And remains at the front edge of response to COVID19 in the realm of remote learning for isolated children and youth in Chicagoland, and is now leaning into this advantage as we work with our board to explore new models for program delivery informed as the healthcare landscape continues to evolve and by what we are learning about safely reaching isolated children one one one. New possibilities for increasing our reach and impact long term are emerging, while we remain constant in our mission to bring arts education to young people while they are in the hospital.

Welcome to the 2021 Team Snow City Arts Challenge! The Team Snow City Arts Challenge 2021, an inclusive, accessible reimagining of our historical 5k/15k run. This year supporters and participants from around the globe will be able to choose from a series of safe challenges to be completed from wherever they may be, ranging from running, swimming, yoga, dance, cycling, sitting and other physical exercises. The Challenge runs from June 1-30.

All you have to do is move your body 30 minutes a day 5 days a week in any way you want throughout the month of June, and participant in an exclusive yoga session with all the SCA team challengers! And if you're looking for a little push to get you moving be on the look out for the Chicago scavenger hunt!
