Snow City Arts inspires youth in Chicago area hospitals by helping them create and learn about art. Each year, Snow City Arts provides arts instruction to approximately 1,300 patients at Rush University Children’s Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and Children's Hospital University of Illinois. On April 24, 2020 launched the Snow City Arts Virtual Learning workshops as a result of the increased isolation created by the impacts of COVD 19 pandemic and shelter in place orders. Videos and interactive learning opportunities are both available! This model of program delivery will continue to evolve, as will our attention to creating a dynamic, anti-racist, Federal and Stae standard aligned curriculum that can be differentied for a variety of learners ages 5-24.
