I hope so, because this is a lot of work and I am already doing it!

As all of you know, these are incredibly difficult, anxiety-provoking times. Now imagine being a child in the hospital experiencing a new level of isolation and anxiety on top of the already significant physical and emotional toll of having a serious illness. 

As they have done for over two decades, during this time, Snow City Arts is bringing to children and youth in Chicagoland hospitals an opportunity to be creative, to express themselves artistically, and to imagine and bring to life a vision for the world they want us all to live in. 

On April 24, 2020, SCA launched the Snow City Arts Virtual Learning workshops as a result of the impacts of COVD 19 pandemic and shelter in place orders. This model of program delivery will continue to evolve, as will our attention to creating a dynamic, anti-racist, Federal and State standard-aligned curriculum that can be differentied for a variety of learners ages 5-24. 

In place of the Auxiliary Board's annual Race, please help support my participation in the Snow City Arts Auxiliary Board Challenge at any amount you are able so we can continue to help inspire and educate children and youth in hospitals through the arts.
