Your contribution can reshape a family's life. The Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) works directly with four different charities that provide support in an emergency, with educational needs, or help to secure a retirement home for widows or widowers of our Air Force members in need of financial assistance.
According to the National Weather Service website, 2021 showcased a total of 76 tornados in the state of Mississippi. According to Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, 2024 showcased a total of 85 tornados in the state of Mississippi. Mississippi is known for the insane amount of severe weather forecasts on a yearly basis. This state is home to an array of natural disasters including: tornados, floods, hail, hurricanes, etc. There is always the possibility that a fellow Defender could be affected by these natural disasters. When these natural disasters strike and cause grave damage, someone must pay.
By contributing to the Air Force Assistance Fund, you are directly supporting fellow Airmen and Guardians that are affected by education programs, emergency assistance, community programs, and disaster relief. If every Defender is our squadron donated just $5, we could reach over 80% of our goal. With every contribution comes much appreciation from all members of the United States Air Force affected. Our goal is to reach at least $500 across the 14th Security Forces Squadron.
SSgt Benjamin McElhaney is the primary Unit Project Officer for the 14th Security Forces Squadron. A1C Kenrick Morgan and A1C Melody Southworth are going to be your Unit Key Workers for the 14th Security Forces Squadron. Please reach out to any of us if you have any questions.
