The Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) is a charitable campaign dedicated to supporting Airmen and Guardians—active duty, retirees, reservists, and their families—through four official Air Force-affiliated organizations. These organizations provide critical assistance such as emergency financial aid, educational scholarships, and care for widows and retirees. Donating to the AFAF is a powerful way to give back to the Air Force community, ensuring that those who serve our nation are supported in times of need. Contributions directly impact the well-being and stability of fellow service members and their families, reinforcing a strong sense of unity and compassion within the force. Help our fellow Airmen and Guardians and their families when they need us most! These four official charities of the Air Force take care of us from the day we join throughout our retirement years. Why Donate?

The Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) is more than just a charity—it's a lifeline for Airmen, Guardians, and their families during their most challenging times. Through four official nonprofit organizations, the AFAF provides emergency financial assistance, education support, and retirement community care to those who have served and continue to serve our nation with honor. By donating, you're not just giving money—you’re offering hope, stability, and a reminder that no one in the Air Force family is ever alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact and helps uphold the values of service, integrity, and excellence. Thank you for your generous support and for standing by those who stand for us.

From emergency assistance to educational assistance, to community programs, to helping widowed spouses stay in their home as long as possible, to providing a home for them when they no longer can -- the four charities of the AFAF Campaign provide assistance to us when we need it.  I'm fundraising for the AFAF Campaign because not only have these charities helped people around me, they will be there for me tomorrow should I need their help too!!!  Let's all pay it forward!!

GIVING TO A SPECIFIC AFAF CHARITY:

Your donation via the pathway to your base, squadron and Key Worker's fundraising page will provide each of the four Official Charities of the Department of the Air Force 25% of your donation.  In doing so, you'll help move each thermometer up the chain!  Unfortunately, this Peer-to-Peer donation portal won't allow for us to give you the ability to give to a specific charity.

If you do want to be able to specify the charities and amounts you give to each, you can use the below link to do so, however, your donation won't show up on the Campaign Event page or our base page, squadron page, or this one.  Should you choose to use the link below anyway, PLEASE DO signify the base and unit of assignment on the 3rd page of the donation form though, because the official "AFAF Tracker Database" your Installation Project Officer uses to report actual donation amounts and pledges WILL be updated with your generous donation!!
