About AIDSWALK
AIDSWALK Tucson 2026
Walk. Run. Remember. Make a Difference.
Saturday, December 5, 2026 | Gene C. Reid Park
For 38 years, AIDSWALK Tucson has brought our community together to remember those we have lost, stand in solidarity with people living with and affected by HIV, and raise critical funds for HIV services throughout Southern Arizona.
This year, there are more ways than ever to take part.
The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF) is bringing back the classic 1.5-mile community walk and adding a new 5K run option. We’re also expanding the event experience with HIV education and advocacy opportunities, live music, activities, community partners, and a brand-new beer garden.
Whether you’re walking in someone’s memory, running for a cause, supporting a loved one, or connecting with your community, there’s a place for you at AIDSWALK Tucson.
Two Gatherings. One Community.
In past years, the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt unveiling took place alongside AIDSWALK Tucson. This year, SAAF and our community partners will hold the unveiling as its own dedicated gathering on December 1, World AIDS Day, creating space to honor the names, stories, and lives we remember.
A Bigger AIDSWALK Experience
The Classic Walk You Know and Love
Our traditional 1.5-mile community walk continues! Gather your friends, family, coworkers, and teammates to honor lives, raise awareness, and support people affected by HIV.
NEW: 5K Run Option
Prefer to run? Join our new 5K option and support the same meaningful cause, one stride at a time.
Learn & Advocate
Connect with community organizations to learn about HIV prevention, testing, treatment, care, and ways to take action against stigma and barriers to services.
Remember & Honor
Honor those we have lost, celebrate people living with HIV, and reaffirm our commitment to a community where everyone is treated with dignity and compassion.
Stay & Celebrate
Gather beyond the finish line for live music, activities, community resources, and a new beer garden for guests 21 and older.
Every Step Makes a Difference
We have much to celebrate in the progress made toward HIV prevention and treatment. Still, stigma, inequity, and barriers to care continue to affect people throughout Southern Arizona.
Funds raised through AIDSWALK Tucson help sustain SAAF’s programs and services, supporting people living with and affected by HIV and connecting our community with care, resources, and support.
Walk. Run. Remember. Learn. Advocate. Celebrate.
However you choose to participate, you help move our community forward.
