Join Amanda's journey to the JA Prom crown!
I'm beyond exited to have been nominated to run for Prom Queen with Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay and rally support for an organization that I deeply believe in!
Just about 3 years ago, I started volunteering with JA to help give back to the kids because I remember when I was young and doing Junior Achievement through school. After a few times of volunteering, I decided to volunteer more because I saw the fun, happiness, and smiles the kids got from their JA day. The kids were so grateful and thankful for the experience, and teaching them how to spend their money, sell products to earn the company money, and run their businesses. It warmed my heart. I volunteered so much that I became a Volunteer Champion in 2024.
Teaching kids about financial literacy is important because it helps them develop essential life skills that will benefit them in adulthood. It also empowers kids to make informed decisions about money, budgeting, saving, investing, and managing debt. With these skills they can build healthy financial habits and have confidence to navigator real world challenge when they get older.
Today, you can help support the incredible programs Junior Achievement has with BizTown, Finance Park, 3DE and more. Your contribution goes towards funding programs to teach students how to manage money, plan for their economic future, own/work for businesses, and develop readiness for careers or collage. Together we can make a difference and inspire the next generations!
Thank you for supporting me in supporting Junior Achievement. Let’s help empower young minds and pave the way for a brighter future!
