Thank you for checking out my fundraising page.  Let me introduce myself, I’m David.  My wife, Elaine, and I are fundraising and walking for the Scleroderma Foundation of California this June in honor of Scleroderma Awareness Month and to recognize all the warriors living with this rare disease. We both have truly benefited from the in-person support groups this organization provides and the patient education they prioritize.  Elaine was diagnosed with Scleroderma as an overlap disease in 2016. The disease may be in her body but we both have it!   

Scleroderma is a complex road to walk often involving many specialists that work together to form a “team” of doctors.  It also requires many daily treatments that are time consuming and an investment for patients and their caregivers.  There is currently no cure. 

Elaine and I have made our fundraising a little friendly competition - Patient vs. Caregiver.
