The Scleroderma Foundation of California has a proud history of serving the scleroderma community since 1989. Our name reflects the history of our Founding and the many years we have spent serving communities in California.  We are excited about the opportunities ahead, expanding our impact to reach more underserved scleroderma communities in California and Arizona, Hawaii and Nevada.

Once again the Los Angeles Support Group Warriors are joining me to raise awareness and funds for scleroderma, supporting the Scleroderma Foundation of California's Mission to EMPOWER the scleroderma community to live BETTER lives through programs dedicated to SUPPORT, EDUCATION, and RESEARCH. 

The VISION of the Foundation is for all scleroderma patients to receive an accurate and timely diagnosis, and access to care and support for those who require it, until we find a cure to end scleroderma.  

The Pillars of the Mission of the Foundation is to:

SUPPORT: Inspiring our community through support services and resources for patients including 27 community volunteer driven support groups, one-on-one professional guidance that allows patients to thrive.  

EDUCATION: For medical professionals to help them understand and properly diagnosis scleroderma early, and for patients to help them and cope and thrive while living with scleroderma.    

RESEARCH:  Support patient-oriented research in collaboration with national and international organizations working in scleroderma and related disease fields.

All of this speaks volumes of why it's important to support the Scleroderma Foundation of California by coming together to participate in A Million Steps for Scleroderma LAOC 2026, a fundraiser supporting Scleroderma Foundation of California. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference!
