I’m thrilled to be participating in A Million Steps for Scleroderma Las Vegas, a fundraiser supporting the Scleroderma Foundation of California! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! I was diagnosed with Scleroderma a few years back. Scleroderma is an auto-immune disease that builds up too much collagen in your body. It's chronic hardening and tightening of your skin and connective tissue. It has caused scarring on my lungs, tightening of my skin, telangiectasia on my face, Raynaud's phenomenon on my hands, ulcers, digestive problems, and joint pain and spasms. Many people with Scleroderma also have heart and kidney problems. That is why, I am walking for a CURE!
