An Evening of Taste guests will experience music, hors d'oeuvres, drinks and dessert while networking with 200+ community leaders. Guest will have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items, and hear impactful stories from local families who benefit from CHS services.
This year, Children's Home Society of Florida's 19th Annual An Evening of Taste will support children and families in Northeast Florida through:
Early Childhood Services
Primarily serving families in poverty, your support will empower
families to create safe, strong, solid foundations so their
children can grow up in healthy, nurturing homes.
Community Partnership Schools
Community Partnership Schools address barriers to learning
including poverty, mental health struggles, homelessness and
others by bringing together high-quality academics, health care,
counseling, support, mentoring and more -- right on-site at the
schools.
Buckner Place Teen Parenting Programs
Your support can provide parental education, life skills training,
and educational and employment support to empower young
moms to care for themselves and their children so they may
become successfully independent families.
Counseling & Mental Health Services
Mental health issues can significantly impact children’s
educational, mental, social and physical well-being, as well as
their family peace and stability. We provide personalized
treatment and support to equip children and families with tools,
coping skills and connections so they can find hope, stability,
and opportunities for happiness and success.
