My Personal Fundraising Page

On October 13th, I will go voiceless for the animals to help raise money for Animal Justice, an organization which works towards improving animal protection laws in Canada. My goal is to raise $1,000, and if all of my Facebook friends were to help by donating even just $5 then I will exceed that goal :) 

Like most people, I used to think that Canada must have good protections in place for animals.  We all love animals, and think they should be treated kindly and spared unnecessary suffering. But did you know that in Canada it's legal to kill and eat your pets? Or that animals being shipped for slaughter are exposed in all weather extremes and can go days without food, rest, or water? In fact, around 1.59 million animals arrive dead at slaughterhouses every year because of the poor conditions in transportation.

Canada is such an amazing country, but that doesn't mean that there isn't room for improvement. Please help reduce the suffering of animals in Canada by supporting this campaign. Every dollar counts.
