Hands of Hope exists to mobilize churches, organizations, and individuals to build a village of care around foster, adoptive, biological, kinship families, and children’s homes so every child can have a safe and loving home.
The Crisis: Children in our state and around the world are without safe, stable homes, and families are struggling to access the support they need.
• Over 13,000 children are in foster care in Indiana. • Nearly half of new foster parents stop fostering within their first year, reducing stability for kids. • Globally, 153 million children are orphans, and 69 million suffer malnutrition.
The Solution: Every child deserves a loving, secure home. Hands of Hope mobilizes churches and individuals to:
• Support and encourage foster families through practical help and emotional care. • Provide financial support to adoptive families so children can find permanent, loving homes. • Equip biological families with resources so children can remain safely with their families whenever possible. • Partner with trusted children’s homes locally and globally so every child is safe, supported, and able to thrive.
