JESS WEDEL -- Jess is an ovarian cancer survivor, mountain guide, and inspirational spearker. On May 14 2023 (Mother’s Day) Jess Wedel became the first ovarian cancer survivor in history to summit Mt Everest – 29,032 feet elevation. Jess leads mountain expeditions around the world and is The Adventure Director for Any Mountain.
JOANIE MAYER HOPE -- Dr. Joanie is a gyn oncologist, musician, and mountain adventurer. Living in Anchorage, Joanie is founder of Any Mountain, Alaska Women's Cancer Care, and Let Every Woman Know -- Alaska. She is also deeply dedicated to global health equity. Joanie takes small steps but dreams BIG.
