Ovarian cancer – the deadliest women’s cancer – has no early detection test or universal means of prevention. This spring, a group of ovarian cancer survivors, medical providers and caregivers will trek to the rooftop of the world to put the first ovarian cancer survivors ever on the 29,029 foot summit. We strive to raise 2.9 million dollars for ovarian cancer prevention and early detection research and awareness.

Why I am climbing....

As a Gynecologic Oncologist it is my mission to care for women battling gynecologic cancer. 

Ovarian cancer is a disease that affects women of all ages and backgrounds and causes more death than any other gynecologic cancer. Unfortunately, it is also a cancer for which many women are unaware of its risk factors or symptoms. 

Did you know that ovarian cancer is highly curable when caught early? Unfortunately, we have no reliable screening tests for the detection of ovarian cancer and only 20% of women are diagnosed when their cancer is early stage.

I am excited to join the Any Mountain Everest Team. Together we will EDUCATE and raise awareness about ovarian cancer, RAISE funding to support vital research on prevention and early detection of ovarian cancer and INSPIRE our communities to take on seemingly impossible challenges.
