Why I Walk
Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s has also touched my family—both my dad and my uncle had it—so this fight is deeply personal to me.
I’m walking with Team Shake, Rattle & Roll in the 2026 APDA Optimism Walk to help raise money for the American Parkinson Disease Association. Donations help fund exercise classes, support groups, educational programs, and research working toward better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps people like me keep moving, stay connected, and keep fighting Parkinson’s. ?
