Luggage of Love 2025

Benefiting CASA Kane County

When a child enters foster care, it can be a scary and confusing time—often with little more than a few personal belongings to bring along. The Luggage of Love program, created and presented by CASA Mission Partner Apex CPAs & Consultants, helps make that transition a little easier by providing new luggage, gift cards, and cash donations that give children dignity, comfort, and a sense of care during uncertain moments.

This year, we’re aiming higher, and we need your help! Apex is proud to offer a $10,000 matching challenge! For every dollar you donate in November, Apex will match it, doubling your gift with the goal of raising $67,000 total.

Whether you've donated in the past or this would be your first time, we invite you to help us expand the reach of this mission by sharing our goal in your network to help us make our goal. If you're looking for a meaningful way to give back this season, this is a direct and powerful way to do so.

Here’s how you can give:

• Make a monetary donation-every dollar will be matched.
• Purchase a new piece of luggage (carry-on or duffel bags preferred).
• Buy supplies to fill the bags: gift cards, books, toiletries, diapers, comfort items, etc.
• Create a fundraising page and rally a team of friends and family to support this wonderful cause.

Let’s show these children that they matter; they are seen, supported, and loved. Together, we can make a lasting impact and help CASA Kane County continue its critical work in advocating for vulnerable youth.
