ACE MV: Growing Tomorrow's Workforce Today

Dear Friends of ACE MV,

2025 was a year of incredible growth and change at ACE; with the support of our generous partners and friends, we have expanded many of our programs, connecting more and more Islanders with career navigation support, workforce training, and access to higher education.

Last year, ACE MV worked with community and regional partners to…

  • Launch the Island Futures program, bringing career awareness curriculum, career navigation and scholarship support to over 75 Island high school students.
  • Bring a 100% locally-delivered Certified Nursing Assistant’s (CNA) training program to the Island, supporting over 30 home and residential caregivers-in-training.
  • Expand our Career Explorations programs to include Clean Energy Career Pathways, supporting a cohort of 12 Islanders interested in becoming HVAC technicians, solar installers and energy specialists.
  • Expand our Education program to include elementary school teachers, in partnership with the Martha’s Vineyard Public Schools and the state of Massachusetts’ Registered Teachers Apprenticeship Program.

With your support in 2026 ACE will expand these initiatives and launch new programs in Building & Technical Trades, Plumbing, and Automotive Mechanics,  while ongoing career exploration opportunities continue for electricians, health workers, early childhood educators and small business owners. Your contribution will support tuition costs and program fees, fueling the engines that move our Island economy as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Our mission at ACE couldn’t be more urgent or relevant.  The connections we make every day – between students and careers,  jobseekers and employers – change lives and strengthen our Island community. With state and federal funding at risk, we ask for your support and continued partnership. Together we are growing tomorrow’s workforce, today.

With gratitude,

Alexandra Bullen Coutts, Executive Director ACE MV
