All race proceeds support St. Joan of Arc School in a small village in Uganda, previously served only by a one-room school house. The school was the dream of an inspirational leader, Fr. Simon Peter Kyambadde, a native of Uganda who earned his doctorate fro Mundein Seminary near Chicago. With fiancial support from members of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Evanston, IL, the school opened in 2008 with 267 students. Today it has grown to provide opportunities for prosperity to more than 600 day and boarding students in preschool through 7th grade.
