I'm Riding to End AIDS

From August 18-22, I'm working the Trillium Health AIDS Red Ribbon Ride. It's a 5-day, 400 mile bike ride through upstate New Yotk to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Year Five

This is my fifth year working the AIDS Red Ribbon Ride and I know it won't be the last, not as long as HIV/AIDS is still killing people and there are those who are struggling to live with this virus.

My first ride was a life changing experience, subsequrnt rides taught me more about myself than I ever thought possible.  If it was only the friends I made, it would have been worth it just for that, but the extraordinary efforts of all of the dedicated people who banded together to make their way through the New York Finger Lakesa region to shout loud and clear "NO, we will not sit and do nothing" was nothing short of awe inspiring.

I will be there, on a bike, making breakfast, or hauling trash, to show the world that HIV/AIDS isn't going to keep me or anyone else I can help down.

Join me, either in person or in spirit.  Every dollar that I raise is one more that can help somone get tested or get access to life saving services.  This isn't a gay problem, this isn't a poor problem, this isn't someone else's problem.  This is ALL of OUR problem.  I know that each and every one of you who visits this site knows someone who's living with HIV, so leave something behind.
