Our mission at ARTS AND REC,LLC is to help all individuals with special needs meet their desired goals of health and well being. Using art-based Therapeutic Recreation and visual arts we help all to experience leisure, art, and mindfulness. Our experienced instructors will teach and encourage our students to use the arts to be creative and express themselves.

ARTS AND REC,LLC started in a barn on the property of our owner. Julie is an artist herself and wanted to share that experience and saw a need for a program that would be engaging and fun for individuals with special needs. Art can give so much self esteem and pride to an individual. Anyone can be an artist with the right instruction. Julie is also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist. She believes that leisure time and leisure skills are so important to everyone's quality of life.

Flutie Foundation Parnership

ARTS AND REC is excited to announce a partnership with the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism! With this partnership, we will be able to provide a scholarship program for our families and individuals who otherwise may not be able to afford our program. Your generous support will enable us to continue to offer engaging classes and programs for all individuals and allow us to continue to grow within our community.
