Hello my name is Sydney McLaughlin-White and I am an ASK ambassador. At age 2, I was diagnosed with stage 3 Wilms Tumor cancer which is a form of kidney cancer. I've lost my left kidney and a portion of my liver during treatment. While being treated for cancer was difficult, it was made better by care and support of the ASK foundation. I've been priveldged that even though my treatment has long been over I get to give back by being a counselor at ASK camp which is my favorite thing to do over the summer.
In Virginia, over 540 children and families are currently battling cancer. As an ASK ambassador, I am contributing to help raise money to provide financial, social, educational, and psycho-social support service to these patients and families.
