Registration

In addition to making life better for kids with cancer, virtual 5K registration includes:

  • Participant T-Shirt                      
  • Finisher's medal (limited to the first 500 registrants)
  • Goody bag
  • Virtual bib
  • Access to virtual photobooth

Online registration closes on Wednesday, May 5th at 11:59pm.

Please note that we do not offer refunds. We do provide consideration for our ASK families who need refund assistance. You can convert your registration fee to a donation by contacting Sarah Kelly at skelly@askccf.org or 804-658-5910.

With the event turned virtual, we do not have any volunteer registration at this time. For ways to continue supporting ASK, please visit our Get Involved page at askccf.org. Thank you!

Event Pricing

Virtual 5K Registration:

  • Early Bird Pricing (through March 31st): $20
  • Regular Pricing (April 1st - May 5th): $25 

Packet must be picked-up at our Curbside Packet Pick-Up event on Friday, May 7th at the ASK Office. We look forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces, and appreciate you making the time to join us (and save us some trips to the post office)!

If you'd like to make arrangements to pick up at a later date from the ASK office, contact Megan at mangstadt@askccf.org.

Virtual 5K Registration - Mailed Packet:

  • Early Bird Pricing (through March 31st): $30
  • Regular Pricing (April 1st - May 5th): $35

Not local? No problem! We can mail your packet with this option. Packet will be mailed to the address listed on the registration form the week of the event. 

Fundraising Only Registration:

Register for free as an individual or join a team to fundraise for ASK! We appreciate your support of our kids and families. This option does not include a participant t-shirt, finisher's medal, goody bag or bib.

Participate in your 5K route any time during the weekend of May 7th-9th and be sure to share on social media with #ASKWalk and #MoreThanAWalk.

Use our virtual photobooth and share photos & videos of you rocking your ASK gear, showing off your team spirit, your most creative 5K route or dancing to 'Don't Stop Believin'!

Top Fundraiser Awards

Gather your friends and family to join the #ASKWalk! Our teams and fundraising individuals have the opportunity to win some amazing prizes! 

Prizes can be claimed at the curbside packet pick-up on Friday May 7th.

FUNDRAISING AWARDS
Top fundraising teams and individuals will be recognized on the virtual Facebook Live program on May 8th and on social media announcements. Top fundraiser awards will be based on team totals as of Wednesday, May 5th at 11:59pm. 

  • Top Fundraising Team (1st Place)
  • Second Highest Fundraising Team (2nd Place)
  • Third Highest Fundraising Team (3rd Place)
  • Top Three Fundraising Individuals

LARGEST TEAM AWARD
The team with the most registered members will win the Largest Team Award. Call everyone you know as it usually takes A LOT of people to claim this prize!

TEAM SPIRIT AWARD 
The Team Spirit Award will recognize the team that creates the best virtual buzz for the cause based on posts, costumes, team name, t-shirts, props, enthusiasm, songs, chants, etc. Have fun, be creative, and be sure to tag ASK in all of your posts on May 8th.

FUNDRAISING SWAG
To help get you motivated to fundraise, we are offering some great incentives for your efforts! All participating individuals will have the opportunity to win swag based on their fundraising levels.

Team Recognitions

Teams raising $5,000 or more will get a special shout out during the virtual Facebook Live program on May 8th. Based on team donations as of April 30th at 2pm.

Teams raising $2,500 or more will have a team sign featured at the curbside packet pick-up on May 7th and will be recognized on social media. Based on team donations as of April 30th at 2pm.

Teams raising $1,000 or more will be featured on the participant t-shirt. Based on team donations as of April 9th at 2pm.

Teams raising $500 or more will be featured on a Top Teams banner at the curbside packet pick-up on May 7th. Based on team donations as of April 30th at 2pm.
