Hi everyone! I’m Kylee, Blakely’s mom. We recently moved to the metro Atlanta area to give Blakely a bigger opportunity to thrive as an individual with Down Syndrome. We are used to being in an area where individuals with special needs aren’t included and resources aren’t given to help them thrive. Since moving, Blakely grows more physically and mentally every day, and I truly believe she will continue becoming the best version of herself and fully thriving thanks to the DSAA and GiGi’s Playhouse- Atlanta. This is just a small part of our journey but we are honored to be apart of the buddy walk and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us. I’m thrilled to be participating in the Atlanta Buddy Walk 2026, a fundraiser supporting the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta! We recently moved to the area to give Blakely more opportunities that'll help her grow and reach her full potential. The DSAA is the biggest step in the process, connecting Down Syndrome families with opportunities that many other places do not offer.
