Four years ago, our sweet Bella entered this world with a congenital heart defect and a journey ahead of her that no child should have to face. Before the age of two, Bella underwent heart surgery (and brain surgery). Through it all, she has shown us what strength, courage, and resilience truly look like. 

Today, Bella is four years old, thriving and proudly attending pre-K - and we couldn't be more greateful for how far she has come. Her journey is a reminder of the incredible impact that research, medical advancements, funding and the support of organization like the Children's Heart Foundation can have on the lives of children and families facing congential heart disease. 

We walk in honor of Bella, in celebration of how far she has come, and in support of the babies being born today with congenital heart defects, the children growing up with them, and the adults living with them every day. We are walking to pay if forward - to help ensure that every heart has a chance to beat stronger, live longer, and thrive.
