Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! On Saturday, March 9, I will join hundreds of my friends and neighbors on a fleet of stationary bikes as part of the Attleboro YMCA's 2019 Spin-a-Thon!
Being apart of the Y community for the past 8 years has been one of the greatest times of my life. Being able to impact so many kids through camp and other programs has really been an amazing thing. I believe every child should have the oppurtunity to have fun filled summers at camp. I know how important social interactions have been for a numerous amount of kids and I want that to continue.
Funds raised through the Y’s Annual Campaign have had a lasting impact on so many in the following ways over the last year alone:
Group mentoring and empowerment programs.for at-risk youth
Scholarships for low-income youth to attend summer camp.
Free wellness programs to help cancer survivors and people with MS,
Parkinson's disease, and other chronic diseases regain strength of body and spirit
Wellness programs and subsidized group memberships for youth and adults with developmental challenges
Subsidized memberships for low-income adults, youth, and families
Community outreach programs
