I was diagnosed at the age of 29 with Type 1 Diabetes. It was life changing, and I cannot imagine learning all the many things that come along with this chronic illness as a young child. I participate in this walk because I believe in the work that Camp Seale Harris does in helping children with T1D not only learn more about their condition, but also have the opportunity to meet hundreds of other children like them.
