Lucas would love to have everyone's support for his 2019 Autism/S.H.A.R.E. Walk team! He has come so far over the years and we are thankful to S.H.A.R.E. for all their support over the past 7 years. Seven years ago, at the 3rd Annual Autism Walk, I found a community...a second family if you will. A place that "got it" and cared for the struggles, my family faced as a special needs family. We have continued our journey with S.H.A.R.E. and we are so grateful for all the support we as parents have received through not only the free respite/childcare but also the free family counseling they provided during a difficult time. They have provided countless resources and contacts for therapies for Lucas, and now the Sibling Support for the girls who are realizing that it will probably fall on them to look after their big brother when Julio and I are gone. We feel the need to support this wonderful organization because of what they have done for our family and because we want to ensure that it will be around for other families who are where we were years ago.
