When I starting teaching social studies 18 years ago it became my mission to ensure that every student who passed through my door would become productive citizens in society. Many of my current and former students have well surpassed my dreams of traveling throughout world and making a dffference by giving selflessly to help others.
After having taught in New York, New Jersey, and Montgomery County, my goal has not changed. I am committed to leading by example for my students at Kennedy High School by giving of my time to support them in of raising money to help the Azawak People of Niger and Mali by participating in a 5K Walk for Water to help build boreholes in the Azawak Valley region of the Sahara Desert to give access to clean water on May 16, 2015. I may be inspired to run a little, haha.
