What do you use the money for?

The Bowl-2-Benefit is the largest single-day fundraiser that supports victims of domestic violence and their children in your community. We serve domestic violence victims in Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Branford, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, West Haven, and Woodbridge. All our services are free and confidential.

Last year, we provided over 7,700 victims and their children with domestic violence services which include 24-hour toll-free crisis lines, safety planning and emergency shelter, court advocacy, counseling and support groups, and community education. Your support of this event helps us continue to provide these much-needed services.

If I can't make the event, can I still participate?

Yes! You can sign up as a Virtual Bowler and raise funds for the event. You'll have a unique fundraising page that you can share with your friends and family via email and social media. We'll miss you but your virtual help is a huge help! Become a Virtual Bowler here.

How does it work?

First, register for the event as a bowler. If you want to take the lead as team captain, indicate this and get your friends and family to join in the on the fun! Lanes can accommodate up to 5 people. If you have a larger group, break into teams and we can set you up to bowl next to each other! Even better? Have a friendly bowl-off!

Sign up for one of our bowling sessions. This year, we're hosting five sessions, with the first session starting at 10:30AM. Each session is 90 minutes long and includes lane and shoe rental, and unlimited soft drinks and water! Our last session starts at 6:30. Earlier sessions are perfect for families and little ones, and later sessions can kick off a night out! Pro Tip: Show up about 20-30 minutes prior to your session so you can get your shoes and take pics!

Don't Forget the Raffles!

Each session will hold a 50/50 Raffle and host a teacup raffle table. We're selling tickets and will have a table chock full of raffle prizes. Be sure to stick around for the raffle winner announcements! We have a ton of fun prizes this year! Please note that tickets for the 50/50 Raffle can only be pruchased with CASH.  We will be taking cards and cash for the teacup table raffle prizes.
