Ever since Desmond had surgery at 8 weeks old, I/we have had a newfound appreciation for Children's Hospital and the amazing care it provides to babies and small children. I also had a lot of experience visiting and hearing about my girlfriend's twin girls that were born extremely premature and are now healthy 5 year olds all thanks to God and Children's Hospital. Lucia has also underwent two surgeries at Children's, so we are very thankful for the care they have provided to our family and close friends.
