I had a very difficult pregnancy and delivery with Ethan; ultimately, he was delivered by emergency Cesarean-section 5 weeks early. Ethan spent the first week of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospital St. Paul. We were very lucky that Ethan was healthy and “only” needed to be in the NICU for one week. Because of our experience, and the important and necessary care that Ethan received, this is why the Baby Steps 3K is so very important to our family and why I’m asking for your support.
Saturday, May 30th hosts the fifth annual Baby Steps 3K and NICU reunion at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Grandstand. Children's of Minnesota has the largest neonatal program in the region and was recognized as one of the top neonatal programs in the country by U.S. News & World Reports.
