Our twin girls, Savannah and Veronica Homme, were born at 24 weeks and 2 days gestation, weighing 18 oz and 15 oz respectively. They were the tiniest babies we'd ever seen and they were ours! After 5 months at Children's Hospital - Minneapolis, the girls were finally discharged from the hospital on oxygen, apnea monitors and feeding tubes. We spent years working on their feeding issues but are happy to report that after 5 years, we were finally able to pull out their feeding buttons. Today, most people would never know about their difficult starts in life, but we'll never forget! They are the strongest, little miracles we know! Our daughters survived through God and through Children's Hospital - Minneapolis and its amazing staff of doctors and nurses!
