I’m doing it again! I ran my first marathon for Northern Illinois Food Bank at Chicago in 2021, Jesse ran his first marathon at Chicago in 2022 and we volunteered for it in 2023. I definitely felt like I was missing out these last two years. So I’m running it again and for a cause we care deeply about. Food insecurity is more prominent in our communities than we know. We’ve all felt the food costs that increased almost 10% in 2022. My family has been blessed to be able to cover these extra costs. Not everyone has been able to do that. The food bank works with agencies and its own programs throughout its 13 county service area. Thank you for donating to help your neighbors fight food insecurity!
