I started volunteering with Providence Animal Center (PAC) in May of 2016 as part of their Outreach Team.  This has been incredibly rewarding for me, as I have the opportunity to spend time with adorable dogs and give them a well-deserved, and often much needed, break from the kennel. Outreach also provides me with an opportunity to promote PAC’s mission of Lifesaving, Adoption, Wellness, Community, which anchors and focuses all the work that staff and volunteers do at the shelter.  I love the sense of purpose and community that PAC represents.  You immediately feel the energy and absolute love of our mission when interacting with anyone at PAC.  You are one team, and everyone is committed to these animals and their well-being while they are with us and even after being adopted.
