My Personal Fundraising Page

Working in animal rescue isn't always easy...but man, is it always worth it.

I started working at Providence Animal Center (then, the DelCo SPCA) after I graduated from college. I remember sitting down one day to look for a full-time job and little did I know I would stumble upon what would end up being a lifechanging opportunity. The SPCA was looking for adoption counselors and I thought to myself, "well, I like animals" - and the rest was history.

I began working in the business office about a year into my employment and found my role in the marketing department. If only my eight year old self could know that one day I would be doing creative design work to help save the lives of homeless pets in need - she would be so proud of where I am now. I get to live my dream by working towards bettering my community and the human and animal lives in it, and now, it's time for me to give back to an organization that has given me one of the greatest gifts a person could ever hope to acquire - a sense of purpose and belonging in this world.
