Walk for the Animals at Barktober Fest

Welcome to my personal fundraising page! I am so excited to be participating this year in the Lollypop Farm Walk for the Animals at Barktober Fest to help pets in our community. In the weeks leading up to the festival, I will be raising money that will provide critical veterinary services and compassionate care for homeless and abused pets right here in Rochester. This has been a bittersweet year for me, I lost my buddy Jack in May and I’ve been missing him ever since. Unfortunately, no matter how much we love our pets, they will leave us at some point. Sometimes we think we’ll never be able to love another the same as we loved the one(s) we’ve lost. While this is true to a point, it’s also true that there’s always another pet that needs a home, and what better place for a homeless pet to go than the home that feels empty because there’s a pet missing! On that note, I just welcomed Olive into my home, a stray kitty that was admitted to Lollypop Farm! She’s a shy little girl & it will take her some time to trust humans, but she’ll get there! Thank goodness for the great people at Lollypop Farm that helped to make this happen!
