I love biking. But what I love even more than biking is homegrown Bostonian organizations that are deeply rooted in community and specific missions to chip away at particular inequalities. Bikes Not Bombs runs great programs in Boston to help folks of all kinds be self-sufficient cyclists and earn bikes they might not otherwise be able to afford. They also pack up and ship bikes all over the world to provide sustainable, low-tech transportation solutions. Please join me in supporting them as I take part in my 3rd (non-consecutive) Bike-A-Thon.
