Bikes Not Bombs has played a big part in my life here in the Boston area. I moved here having not really ridden a bike since I was a kid, but had no car nor the money to buy one. BNB - over at the old location - built me my first bike in Boston. By bike is how I got to know the city. Years later, they taught me how to be a mechanic, made me feel empowered, and then employed me for 4-5 years. I think this will actually be my first year ever riding in the BAT after many years working it.
