The Battle of Brooklyn is a friendly virtual competition that brings together any and all supporters (not just squash players this year!) to promote the Brooklyn CitySquash program. With the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our Brooklyn communities, we need your support now more than ever!
The event features teams of participants who will compete in a mix of mental and fitness challenges virtually. Funds raised from the event will directly benefit the 50 elementary, middle and high school team members served through CitySquash’s Brooklyn site. All donors who give $2,500 or more will receive a limited edition CitySquash gift after the event.

The 2020 Cares Act provides two new provisions for donors:

An above-the-line deduction for 2020 on cash contributions up to $300 to charities for all taxpayers (not just those who itemize deductions).

For individual taxpayers who itemize their deductions, the limit on deductions for contributions is suspended for 2020.
