What is included in entry to the Big Basketball Bash?

Big Basketball Bash attendees view two NCAA semifinal basketball games on big screens throughout the Scott Conference Center. Heavy appetizers and snacks will be available throughout the event. Guests can enjoy complimentary beer and soda from the bar. Wine and cocktails are available for purchase. Guests can purchase tickets to participate in additional games throughout the evening.

What is the attire for Big Basketball Bash?

Casual! Jeans and t-shirts are welcome. Maybe you want to represent your favorite team? Maybe you rock your BBBS gear? Whatever you feel comfortable in to watch the games.

Is there a minimum age requirement to attend?

Big Basketball Bash is a 21+ event where alcoholic beverages will be available. We encourage Bigs and Littles to attend the basketball match activity earlier in the day, but the evening event is adults only.

Where do I park for Big Basketball Bash?

Parking is available in the lot just south of the Scott Conference Center.

Can I participate in the Silent Auction if I am unable to attend in person?

Yes! Simply select Silent Auction Bidder Only on the registration page. Silent Auction prizes can be picked up at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands office, or, when possible, arranged to be shipped to your home. What type of technology do I need to have to participate in the auction?
Any device with access to the internet can be utilized to bid through the Qgiv auction (mobile phone, tablet, laptop, smart TV,etc.). Supported web browsers include Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. We recommend you test your browser prior to the event. Qgiv recommends downloading their Givi app through the Apple Store or Google Play to easily view auction items, bid, and donate during the event.

How does this event support our community?

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands uses revenue from Big Basketball Bash sponsorships, ticket sales, silent auction purchases, and day-of donations is used to help create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships in Omaha metro area that ignite the power and promise of youth.
