Earlier this year, we realized that we are serving a family with three generations of Littles. Grandma Nicole was one of the first groups of Little Sisters back in the late 1970s, when BBBS was brand new to Beaver County. Knowing what an incredible impact her Big made on her young life, Nicole enrolled her daughter in the program years later. Now, her granddaughter, Bella, will soon celebrate her 2-year match-iversary with her Big Sister, Elizabeth!
What does all this say about BBBS? Our mentors and programs are consistent, reliable sources of stability in the communities we serve. Families depend on us and the challenging economy has only exacerbated the need for support systems. Mentoring is vital and we need your support to continue.
