Meals to Missions 2026: Feeding Families. Training Boys for Life.
The Birmingham Boys Choir is a formation-first institution that uses the discipline of choral music to train boys for life.
Through Meals to Missions 2026, we are partnering to provide meals for families in need—locally and internationally in Mexico—while continuing our mission of training boys through discipline, brotherhood, and meaningful challenge.
Feeding Families. Training Boys for Life.
For over 50 years, the Birmingham Boys Choir has trained boys through the demanding, beautiful work of choral music—forming responsibility, confidence, and character that lasts a lifetime.
This year, through Meals to Missions 2026, our families and choristers will help provide thousands of meals for families in need—both in our local community and through international outreach in Mexico.
This is more than a service project. It is part of how we train boys.
When a boy participates in this campaign, he learns:
- That his effort can serve someone beyond himself
- That discipline leads to real impact
- That brotherhood means working toward something that matters
At the Birmingham Boys Choir, music is the vehicle—but formation is the product.
Every rehearsal, every performance, and every act of service is part of a multi-year process designed to train boys into young men who lead with integrity, responsibility, and purpose.
This campaign sits right in the middle of that mission.
Your Gift Goes Further
Your support accomplishes two things at once:
1. Feeding Families
- Provides meals for families in need
- Supports outreach both locally and internationally (Mexico)
- Creates tangible, immediate impact for those facing food insecurity
2. Training Boys for Life
Every dollar beyond the cost of meals directly supports the formation work of the Birmingham Boys Choir:
- Scholarships so boys from all backgrounds can participate
-
World-class music staff who train each chorister
- A disciplined, high-standard environment where boys grow
-
Camps, concerts, and experiences that build confidence and brotherhood
-
A multi-year process that shapes boys into better boys of today and good men of tomorrow
You are not simply funding a project.
You are aligning your resources with a lasting institution that trains the next generation of men.
