Bees of Bee Cave Benefit Auction

Registration begins: November 20 at 9:00 a.m.

Bidding begins: December 1 at 9:00 a.m.

Funds generated through the auction of our beautiful artist-designed “Bee” sculptures will go toward greatly needed scholarships for local high school students, educational programming, community projects, and the artists who created these wonderful sculptures.

Each sculpture has been individually designed by a different artist and painted with a special blend that withstands outdoor conditions. These sculptures are long lasting and gorgeous. In addition, a book is available discussing the project and why each artist chose to design their "Bee" as they have. Follow the link to our website to learn more!

See the Bees at The Hive

Our exhibition and program space, The Hive at Hill Country Galleria, is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. But even when we are closed, you can see the Bees through our windows, and we keep them well-lit. If you need special attention or have questions, email: info@beecavearts.foundation. A downloadable booklet about the Bees of Bee Cave is posted on our website, and it shares artist information and color photographs of each Bee.

Delivery of Your Bee

Winning bidders will each receive email instructions. In brief: 1) you may pick up your Bee in person; 2) you may have your Bee delivered to you within Travis County (professional art handling fee involved); or 3) you may have your Bee packed, insured and shipped to a physical address (shipping service fee involved).

Tax Deductibility

For a complete overview about charity auctions and IRS rules, follow this link to our website. The actual cost for creating each individual Bee sculpture was $3,000. Hence, bids beyond that amount are tax deductible. We hope you will bid "high" and both provide more financial support for our nonprofit organization, and receive a greater tax deduction.

In our estimation, the true value of each Bee sculpture is $10,000.
